Nashville Flood of 2010: Gaylord Opryland Hotel

Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Convention also suffered severe damage during the Nashville Flood of 2010. Much of the facility sustained flooding which forced Opryland Hotel to close for several months. PGTI partnered with Opryland Hotel and worked over several months to help restore the facility.

PGTI completed extensive VLF/Tan-Delta cable testing, working with engineers, Eaton, the cable manufacturer, and Wolfe & Travis to make safe and financially sensible repairs. PGTI test data of the facility cable system enabled Opryland to make financial/risk decisions that save over ten million dollars (At least, that’s what they told us).
